Sunshine on Leith

I'm awful at keeping this up to date! But it only means I'm having fun here!

So...since the last time I wrote...Jean-Mathieu arrived Monday night, then on Tuesday we went to meet one of his friends who came over from Ireland for a few days, and that night we went to see Xavier Rudd at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange (strange venue). That show was AWESOME..especially at the very end, when J-M and I were yelling for him to play Lives in the Book (his best song!) and he tried to play it but couldn't remember the chords or all the lyrics, so we ended up singing it for him! Ace!

The next day was Michael Franti, which was also awesome because I got to hug him! Woo

The rest of the time was mostly walking around and watching street performers and comedy acts.

We also went to see Sa'Choom, a Korean musical/dance thing which was pretty cool.

And, there were a few days of sunshine! Yay!

I went back to Leith, saw my old flat, but haven't been down to Ocean Terminal yet. I also met up with Cindy and Matt a couple of times before they went to Canada and also saw my friend Wil the other day. Good times!

I'll put some pictures up soon, right now I'm not at home and I left my camera cord usb thing at the flat. And also my computer is making really weird noises and the screen keeps dimming alone...strange.

So that's pretty much it, just wanted to say I'm still alive. There are lots of art/photo exhibits I'm really looking forward to seeing so I'll try to do that before the weekend.

Oh, and I've started looking for a flat in Barcelona, without success as of yet...and since flat-searching is the thing I hate the most in the world, I'm hoping I'll find one soon.

Right, I'm going to turn this computer off before it explodes in my face.
