"I'm here! I'm really here!" That's what I had to keep telling myself as my bus drove into Edinburgh this morning. I still can't believe it though!



We arrived in Glasgow around 6am, after a pretty normal flight (it was cramped, and there were lots of babies screaming, but I still managed to sleep!) I took the shuttle to Buchanan Street station, then the bus to Edinburgh and then walked to the Mound to meet Emmanuelle at her friend's jewelery stand. Yay!

I got my mobile working so I can receive and make calls (if you want my number, ask me by e-mail...it's the same number as when I lived here). Then I came to the flat and had a nice two hour nap, thankfully Emmanuelle called to wake me up or else I'd probably still be sleeping.

It's raining here, of course, and SUPER cold (12º!!) I don't mind the rain..but the cold...that's winter in Barcelona!

Anyways, it's awesome to be back in Edinburgh, even though still surreal...as the bus pulled into town I got so excited, my eyes started watering (they seem to do that a lot these days...leaving Montréal too!)

I sort of only realised today that I'm in Europe for four months and in Scotland for a few weeks, since I didn't have time to think about it before leaving. It's an interesting feeling!

Anyways, I'm going to go to my dear Forest café (http://www.theforest.org.uk/) (comme le Cagibi mais encore plus intense!) to read a bit and then meet Emmanuelle there later tonight.
