Everything In Its Right Place

Official departure countdown: In ONE week, I will be in Edinburgh!

Moving all my stuff on Friday went really well, I was super stressed but managed to pack everything before Friday! So now my room is empty, save my bed, my clothes, and an upside down cardboard box serving as a bedside table. Very bohemian. Or minimalist. Or just depressing, depending on how you see things.

Good news came today from the Spanish embassy! Apparently my student visa is ready! I will not be entering Spain illegally! I don't understand though. When I went, the man there made a HUGE deal about how my visa would never be ready before I left, and would only just be ready before I left Edinburgh for Barcelona. Plus, I apparently had insufficient funds (what else is new), and needed more proof from the bank, etc, etc...things that I still haven't brought (or had my parents bring, nuance)...but apparently all this doesn't matter! I'm extremely relieved about not having to ship my passport to Canada from the UK.

All I have left to do now before leaving is finish working (3 days and 1 hour left!), finish my book (it's due on the 13th...I'm on page 719 and there are 884 in all), enjoy my last few days in Montréal (easy enough I think!) and pack my bags!
